Leo Butler provides an excellent example of how to write a
100 word play.
From www.theroyalcourttheatre.com:
The Young Writers Festival is just around the
corner, and the writing is on the wall…in the lifts, on the tickets, under the
drinks – the entire building will be overflowing with new short plays and we’d
like you to write them.
We’re inviting writers of all ages and experiences to have
their short plays displayed throughout the Royal Court building during this
year’s Festival. Your play can be about anything that interests you. Just one
rule; it must be 100 words or fewer (including stage directions). For complete
guidelines, please download & read the ‘Submission Guidelines’ document
(left side bar).
